From 9 to 11 September 2026, representatives of the Croatian Qualified Entities Društvo Potrošačica (Female Consumer Club – FCC) and Društvo Potrošača Međimurja (DPM) took part in a three-day ACT4Consumers study visit hosted by the Italian Centro Tutela Consumatori Utenti (CTCU) in Bolzano, together with the Austrian Verbraucherschutzverein (VSV).

The programme focused on the practical side of representative actions and collective redress: how suitable cases are identified, how evidence and affected consumers are managed, how proceedings are financed — including third-party litigation funding — and how communication supports a collective action, illustrated by real proceedings such as the cross-border Meta/GDPR case.

The next study visit will take place in Vienna, where the Croatian partners will continue learning from VSV’s practical experience with collective proceedings.
